Couture vulture

I had a lunchtime stroll around the Walker Art Gallery today and saw 'Feathercuts and Flares' their current exhibition of early 70s fashion horrors (The tank tops! The hot-pants! The Laura Ashley floral prints! The stack heels!) but was more taken by their display of frocks worn by Birkenhead's most famous daughter, Lily Savage.
