The girls!
Oh boy, oh boy I have had the BEST day! When it first started I wasn't very impressed, as I only got a short stroll around the block before I was thrown in the boot of the car for nearly 2 hours!!
BUT.....boy was it worth it! We went to visit Molly and Briar! I was soooooooo excited to see them and get to see where they live and play everyday.
We went on a reeeeeaaaalllllllly long lovely walk through beautiful fields that smelt GORGEOUS. Deer sniff, Pheasant sniff, Partridge sniff, Rabbit sniff, Horse manure......yummy!
Now, for all of you who thought that I was a crazy puppy, you haven't seen anything until you meet Briar! She is MAD. In fact she was right up my street. We played ALL day, we didn't stop. Everytime I had a toy in my mouth, Briar wanted it. She loved my tennis ball and would take it right out of my mouth!! Cheeky devil!! I am a bit taller than her though so I learnt to stick my nose in the air and then she couldn't get such a good grip! We also chewed on the same indestructible bone quite a lot too! One on each end *giggle*
Briar is VERY good at flushing out pheasants, you should see her bounce her way through the fields! Even I didn't try and keep up with her. Phew she is tiring! She doesn't stop, not for a minute! I tried to entertain her all day to give poor Molly a break. Crikey, it must be tiring having a Briar to live with everyday! I even tried to put her in her place by putting her on her back and grrrrring a little but she wasn't having ANY of it! She just kept coming back for more wrestles!! and I just couldn't resist, you know how much I love a wrestle!!
Poor Molly had a poorly paw and had to go to the vet after I had left and had a bit of a time of it I think. She has been in the wars a bit lately xxx
We did a bit of posing for photo's on the sofa but it was very difficult to get us all to sit still!! This is the best picture we could get! I think Molly and I look very grown up don't we?!!
I LOVE it at their house, they live in a very beautiful chocolate box village, it even has a stream running through it! Imagine the fun I could have chasing pheasants and swimming in the stream everyday?! Apparently it is real "gundog country" just PERFECT for me!
I must admit I am VERY tired tonight and am looking forward to a snooze on the sofa. I really don't know how Molly does it every day!!
Thanks Molly and Briar for a FANTASTIC day. I hope that we can do it again very soon. Mum says she had a really really lovely time too :-)
Bye for now
