Deeper Underground

A journey to the centre of the earth, or so it felt as we headed underground to the lowest part of Davi's Falls which drops from the surface level down into an underground cavern.

Cramped, hot and slippery was the walk down through the cave but the view from the bottom of the falls looking back up to the sky above was impressive as the sunlight reflected off the water as it fell.

A power cut as we made our way back out of the cavern lead to a couple of uncomfortable minutes as I stood there trying to convince myself that finding you way through an unlit cavern back to the surface would be easy.

The lights came back on before I had to test my theory though.
