Durham's Lumiere Festival.
Tonight we visited the Lumiere Festival at Durham. It was wonderful, with so many displays all beautifully lit up.
The castle had rainbow stripes. There was a waterfall of lights off one of the bridges, and the biggest snow dome ever in the market place.
We waited at the cathedral and these children marched from the market place singing all the way, with these fishes which they'd made themselves, and each one had a light inside, they were so proud of themselves. This was followed by a twenty minute sound and light show on the walls of the cathedral, showing it's history. A beautiful sight.
We followed this with a lovely meal. A great night.
