The age of the train...

Number 8 in this series of vintage British Rail posters currently on view at Richmond Station, where some work on the station walls has removed layers of later posters to reveal these dating from about 1984-5 before rail privatisation. See number 7 here.

This one is quite sweet and quaint, I think. I don't ever remember seeing such well tended flowers on a British station...
