Cloud factories?

Some days driving by these smoking steam chimneys I wonder is steam the ONLY thing in there in our green Vancouver. Amazing how we have the UGLIEST industries on islands in the middle of town like this factory on the way to Richmond and huge cement manufacturer on the utmost highlight of tourism on Granville island. Such a contradiction. A cement factory next to the biggest deli market and Arts and Crafts stores catering to tourist from anywhere.
