the stag
so, i popped back from bondi, home to Scotland and up to Lochnagar - one of my favourite places in the world.
so, i went for a run today - thirty degrees, blue skies, blazing sunshine, the beach heaving - and of course, decided to integrate some sculpture blipping into my run. this stag, as you can see, sits prominently on a small rocky outcrop. it overlooks the ocean between bondi and tamarama and is incredibly majestic with its enormous antlers.
i have to confess i clearly messed a little with the processing tonight - but this was really just because i had the luxury of iphoto to use tonight, as opposed to my usual microsoft office picture manager! i'm not sure if it adds or detracts - it was a bright blue sky day and the metal stag looked splendid. perhaps on reflection, i've gone for a more homely, scottish autumnal feel here....
many, many thanks for the comments yesterday on the web. i was so chuffed to be given some favourites too, so thank you very much!
have a good weekend everyone. x
oh, and the name of this sculpture: 'i have been dreaming to be a tree... II'
