Evil Alien Puppy

So. My puppy has decided she is scared of coming down the bottom half of the stairs. She can come down the top half of the stairs. Which are exactly the same as the bottom half of the stairs in every characteristic. But she stops half way and is terrified of coming down the rest of the way.

This is a problem.

The second floor of my house will not provide enough exercise for a mental golden retriever for the next 10 or so years. And of course, she LOVES going up. So keeping her downstairs is not as simple as it sounds. My house is upside down by the way, with the living room and kitchen upstairs.

It took 35 minutes of coaxing to get her down for this evenings walk. She has come down quite happily every day of her life. She slipped a couple of times but it wasn't yesterday . Very weird. And there certainly isn't time for this nonsense at 6am on a school day.
