Chemicals

We use them everyday in our lives, yet we rarely read the danger notices. As I am uploading these today, I can tell you about what happened earlier in the week. An apprentice was told to empty an oil bund. He put it into some used chemical containers, he was instructed by someone else. The containers hadn't been cleaned and there was a very strong, unpleasant gas given off. Given as they had a toxic symbol on them, I thought this rather stupid. I had previously read the data sheet and the gases given off are dangerous. Not a clever thing too do really.
