Confused rosebud

...still going strong passed the middle of November.

I came home last night from the Usher Hall to a minor panic, 2 of the units in the kitchen were cupboards not internal drawers and the oven and fridge/freezer are round the wrong way. But a call to Ross this morning calmed me. Today's panic was the curtain material - no sign of the bedroom stuff. Call to Glasgow - 'check the roll of lining' and there it was. Now working on getting the roll through from Y's.

So the rest of the day was quite calm after that. Liz came to measure the windows again and take away the material that is here. I spent some time in the back green, so mild, planting the 'end of season' shrubs and capturing the nasturtiums and roses that are confused and think it is still mid summer.

After a sandwich (my worktop is a box in the hall!) C came up to confess he's double booked so can't do the loft tomorrow and we spent ages talking kitchens. My kitchen will be very full of units but it ooks like I'll have enough storage space. C came back later to measure my kitchen. He thinks I have a superior flat as we think the kitchen is bigger.

Rest of the afternoon has been spent trying to track expenses, reconcile accounts and track down the bits of paper I need. The next lot of travels are organised too.

Tonight it's 'The Beloved' ( 'Les Bien Aimes') with Catherine Deneuve, probably the only French film I'll get to in this year's festival. Means I can have tea (again) at the Filmhouse. Thanks Allan for the tip about the 10% loyalty card!

I feel like I'm living in a bedsit, but that's ok and saves on the heating.
