MAGPIE

A Magpie in the holly tree in my garden.

Not a good shot but I thought it appropriate for today - One for sorrow and all that. The Magpies finally lost a match. I didn't really have high hopes of a win.

Newcastle United 1

At least we got a goal back in the end. Listened on the radio and will watch it on Match of the Day later. - if I can bear it.

****** Neil update. He is still living in a hostel in Kings Cross - cheapest place for accommodation apparently.

" Thurs it lashed down, we cancelled bbq and just had a few in The Cross. Went to Bondi for a 1 dollar steak with a few people, was good. Friday i went to see sculptures by the sea, its some artwork on the coastal walk between Bondi and Tamawara, pretty cool stuff. Then we went out round The Cross last night as 3 of the girls in our hostel were moving out this morning to a house in Randwick.

Today I had casual labouring work, was removals stuff, Think he's gonna have pretty much full time work for me so going to give that a go - pretty tiring lugging stuff about but decent money.

After that I met the girls in the park to chill and frisbee, Tomorrow me and Helen are up early to surf Bondi, then bbq on Coogee Beach and a street festival in Glebe that sounds fun. Then work Monday!

Next week I'm doing a Fun Run fun for charity. Its for The Variety Club - I will be wearing a Santa suit.- will be a laugh."
