Tumbleweed Wheel Line Irrigator

I am fascinated by tumbleweeds. Probably due to my having grown up back East where tumbleweeds do not exist except as symbols for the wide open spaces way out West.

I also am fascinated by the various techniques farmers use to provide water to their crops in the fields.

For a week now I've been intrigued by the tumbleweed whose random journey has been interrupted by the wheel line irrigator in a field I pass on my way to work.

This morning I had the time to take a closer look. Yep, the tumbleweed is stuck fast.

I wonder how long its journey will be stalled.
