White House at Dusk

This house is several short blocks from us in Northampton. I shot it several weeks ago after dark, but had a more tempting blip that day. This afternoon I was curious to see how it would work as dusk fell--I'm pleased. Although it's not especially large, I find it quite elegant--a worthy addition to my series of local houses, with a wide variety of porches.

We flew back from Baltimore today, after a two-day visit to little Ella and her family. The flight passed just to the east of Manhattan, on a clear morning--but I was sitting on the aisle and didn't have my camera handy; it was a wonderful opportunity :(
