Grannies Bonnet

Or, the correct name is Aquilegia. My gardens are full of these pretty things along with white foxgloves. The look stunning amongst the rhodo's, roses, iris's and many other pretty plants and give the garden and nice soft and cottage look.

This one in particular is a double frilly wee number. Used the 50mm with one macro tube - hand held, got to love the nifty fifty.

I did the first bike ride of the summer this morning, and felt pretty good really.

Then spent another hour chasing the mower around in the paddock garden (I will blip it one of these days), more gardening followed mainly pulling our what I call "sticky weed", its not there one day, the next it is growing up and through the plants, pesky!

Other than that, its been a cruisey Sunday afternoon really. Done some Focus stuff, some emails, booked tickets to Wellington for Christmas, a good yarn to our Wanaka son and not much else.
