Great Papa Barry's Chair

We've had a busy day visiting with family. Mema has early Thanksgiving for family every year the Saturday before.

Enjoyed seeing family that came from out of town, Aunt Fannie and Martha came from Florida. I blipped Aunt Fannie earlier this year for her 100th birthday. Heather brought baby Zoey out for her first family event. Lots going on.

When we finally came home, we had been discussing giving Chandler his great papa Barry's chair. Papa Barry passed away on December 11, 2000. But during his last days he loved to sit and rock in his little chair. Chandler came in tonight and for the first time went into our bedroom where the chair was and moved everything around it and climbed up in it. Him and the chair fit perfect. We brought it out in the living room, so from now on, its Chandler's chair. When he gets older we can tell him stories about his great papa Barry, who I didn't know very long myself, but he was a wonderful person and a loving family man. He welcomed me into his family and made me feel loved and so comfortable.

Barry was with us today.
