It's nice when it's generally a nice day but with the occasional spot of cooling rain to mitigate the unceasing sun. Also nice when there are two new photograph exhibitions in town even if the one which looked more interesting on paper turns out to be a bit shit. At least I had remembered my earplugs to enable me to not have to constantly frown at people babbling though I did have to frown at a security guard in another gallery after he told me not to use my mobile when I was quite clearly precautionarily switching it off (when it was already silent) despite the fact that an irritating child was at that very moment running stamping and shrieking from room to room and making lots of actual noise rather than mere potential noise.
