Haydock Park Races

We went to Haydock Park Races yesterday. The day was rather overcast and about 13 or 14 degrees; nippy but pleasant enough. After we went through the turnstiles everyone was offered a yellow and black scarf emblazoned with the day's racing sponsor's logo. Imagine thousand of racegoers with yellow and black scarves - some worn simply as scarves; some fashionably tied in all sorts of different ways, some worn as head scarves (keeping ears warm).
A clever marketing ploy! And a lovely days racing!
