Chickens!!!

Here they are in all their glory (and back to a full compliment of 4 after an hour and a half chasing the one that got away, thanks Matt and Skye). We have altered the run a little and clipped their wings in an effort to keep keep them in. Seems to have worked so far.

We bought 2 Speckledy and 2 Nera from the nice folks at Cambridge Poultry. If all goes well with get a couple more in the spring.. Exciting times.

With the exception of the great escape last night all seems to be well. Fingers crossed for eggs before Christmas (that day should be an easy blip!).
