Stow-on-the-Wold

Drove to a gallery in Stow today to buy a signed print by an artist I really like, Anna Pugh. Also hoped to get some nice Cotswoldy shots, but the fog was so thick there wasn't much to see, apart from this rather picturesque doorway.

Finally, driving home, on a hill, I looked down onto a lovely Cotswold stone village, with smoke rising from chimneys, lights in windows and atmospheric drifting fog; but there was no where to stop the car! When I finally reached a turnout place, it was nearly a mile on, and would have meant walking back along a fairly busy road, with no foot path. In the fog. So it will have to be The One That Got Away.
