Feed the Birds

Took myself out to a cafe for lunch today as Mr Song is on night shifts just now and I couldn't be bothered cooking quietly.

When I came back we had a lot of sparrows at the 'normal' bird feeder. The black seeds at the front are Niger Seeds specifically for the Gold Finches which are very shy, I haven't seen them for a few months now, and the one at the back is for all the rest. They get through a tube a day!

I have taken quite a few snaps of the birds feeding and fighting over the seeds but always come up with a better shot.

'Great' I thought, 'I will blip the birds today'. So I put the shopping away, made a cuppa and went and st on the steps, camera poised waiting for a shot.

I waited for 15 minutes and not one of them came back! Tweets.
