Monday morning

Well, this is my first entry into blipfoto. It's Monday morning and I'm having a lovely cup of coffee opposite the hospital. it's run by two Croatian born women in their nid twenties-a good age to be, I think. I should be sitting at my desk but as soon as my face appears at the door there is always so much to do. This weekend was probably the best weekend we have had with Liam in a long time. He was well regulated and didn't sit on me 24 hrs a day!. he had a lovely time out with Peter and has been sleeping well. Could this be a turning point....Giant steps and KU have definitely made a difference and I must remember how fortunate we are. So, more patients today to keep me busy. I have a very difficult situation with a woman who has an angiosarcoma and terrible pain in her left leg. She took up most of friday and i didn't get time to see many other patients. Its a real eye opener to witness a woman younger than me who is going to die in the next6 months. AT least my job reminds you how fragile life can be and to be grateful for everyday you have good health. if Im to keep up this diary i'll have to iimprove my writing skills. My brother, Michael, writes so well and its a joy to read his entries. Mine will just read like one random thought connected to the next! I should go and start work now.... Have to see whether I can get image and words to marry together now. Bye bye.
