Treasured Relic

Mom, Hannah, & I went Christmas shopping--mainly for Hannah to pick out some things (coat, boots, few clothes) I got my husband's gift as well, so I guess it was productive--just wish I was a bit further along.

Today's photo is a treasured wall hanging I have in my living room. It is the header of an antique calendar which belonged to my great-grandmother. The detail & craftmanship in these relics is truly amazing. Can't imagine our calendars will ever be so treasured by generations to come.
