Here's one I made earlier......

Well, not me but a very patient man who has taken years to painstakingly recreate a miniature Cutty Sark out of wood. The attention to detail is amazing right down to the little wooden lifeboats, the individual planks on the deck and the hand tying of all the strings around the masts. An immense amount of effort goes in to putting these masterpieces together. This is one of 2 different completed ships with another one in progress, estimated to complete within the next 2 years.

Thanks to the creator of this ship who carefully took it down from its display shelf and allowed me to take it's picture as I made a fleeting visit to drop off some crafting goodies.

This will be my entry for the WBC theme of "wood".
