Sea Shore Lichens

Had a great day today, wayfarer card meeting over coffee with freespiral and a walk around her lovely garden. Then off for a walk around one of my favourite headlands, we didn't have the promised sunshine, but it was very mild, enjoyed looking at the lichens on the rocks. I disturbed a few snipe and some wild ducks, while gannets flew overhead, wonderful.
Later I spent an enjoyable time with friends, at a tea party, lots of scones, jam and cream, a variety of cakes, all washed down with lots of tea! We had a book swop, great idea and a sing song, Beetles, Joni Mitchell, Sandy Denny, Simon and Garfunkle, to name but a few from our repertoire.
