Deep Cutting

I do love people, but sometimes their timing can be rubbish!
I set off today with just enough time to go along the canal, get a few shots and then get to the river Lune just before the light went, when all the crazy sounding birds are swooping across the mud as the sun turns to fire.

But I met two people who I hadn't seen for a while. I decided in the end that "Sorry, mate; but I really need to get down to the river before the light goes." wouldn't go down too well. It may have seemed a tad rude.

A blipper would have understood.


Next time I will either go earlier or wear a cunning disguise.
