Common or Garden

Having just commented on DaveH's journal that I've never seen a woodpecker in my garden, I've just seen one on my neighbour's peanuts! Unfortunately, my plan to stalk over to it behind cars failed when it flew off the moment I stepped out of the front door. Camouflage clothing could be the way to go...

So, by way of consolation, here is one of my wood pigeons in the misty morning light. A busy day ahead so that's one thing ticked off the To Do list.
