Raisin Monday

In St Andrews, we have the tradition of raisin weekend, which is kind of like an initiation for freshers. Your academic parents generally mess about with you on Sunday, and then on Monday they dress you up and send you off to a foam fight in the quad.
My lovely mum jasmine dressed me as a bride from the Spanish day of the dead, and then, after providing us with 2 cans of foam each, sent us off to the quad to get completely covered in the stuff. It was pretty fun!
