Tatty ears!

No blips during daylight today and so - candles by candlelight and a bit of the usual electric variety.

That was the plan. Until of course Jakey thought he would present himself for a portrait.

I get nervous with candles lit when Jakey is in the room. I have never known a cat to jump up in so many places where you wouldn't expect him to and it doesn't matter how high the surface is. If he can see it, he will attempt and usually succeeds to jump up to it. He could be nominated to be the most leapiest Captain of the British Olympic Cat Leaping team.

So, he had a long wash - well, he has got a long body and a long tail.

And it would seem he had some kind of altercation with "something" on Saturday evening as he came in a bit bloodied with both ears looking a little raggedy. It's not put him off his stride though, but maybe he needs to duck a bit quicker next time...?
