Edinburgh Castle

First day of holidays and I had an appointment about my mortgage - flippin heck, can things not be simple ? Have come out all confused, and have people to phone, plans to change and further meetings to follow. A horrible hour with a not so nice woman.
I hate not knowing what's what with things like this. I feel all out of control.

Anyway it gave me a chance to see the mess of Princes Street, eerily quiet with no traffic.

Apparently the Council are wanting to put the 5 Olympic circles on the Castle during the games, the local paper have a petition for it not to go ahead. Personally I don't see what is wrong with that - that view didn't go down well with the person who told me about it.
