Atlantic City

Atlantic City for a day out whilst on an otherwise 'indoor' business trip.

So much weatlh mixed with so much poverty.

For myself, I was hungering to see the sea, yet the beaches were empty, the casino's busy.

This chap was one of many who pushed overweight gamplers up and down the boardwalk on rolling chairs.

I'll always remember this place as rather surreal, and maybe a distasteful manisfectation of the twisted values amongst which we live.
