my autumnal run of freelancing seems to have ground to a collective temporary halt this week, but on the plus side i finally managed to make some headway today into processing the approx 800 raw shots which I'm about a month or so behind on. hip hip hooray.

on an even better note the various tweets I've been reading all day about the new D800 being officially announced soon made me giddy with excitement (apart from it being a tad smaller than the D700. being somewhat shovelhandedly-sausagefingered I must be amongst the minority of people who actually want to use a big camera). Let's hope the recent trend of nikons going up in price doesn't push it too far from my reach.
