Tui on Flax

It has to be a tui tonight, because the only photos I took today were of him. And none of them were very good either - this is the best of the 4 I took. The bokeh is caused by the light through the kowhai tree leaves.

I went down to the river this afternoon to see how she was looking. She's dropped close to 3 feet on where she was in yesterday's blip. Still at least another 3 feet to drop to get back to normal, and still looking as brown and smelling of mud. I hate to think of how much topsoil has been lost up river.
