Golden Surfers

This is on a very windswept beach at Pacific City. We're renting a house here for a few days, and this was taken on the blustery walk home from the brewpub down the beach.

We came here 5 years ago on our last West Coast trip and just loved it so thought we'd drag our friends here for a few days. Either the weather is unseasonally cold or we hit lucky last time we were here (in early May) but it is icy cold and very windy.

Still, the beer, the views and the company are good, and the sea air makes the kids sleep well, so it's not so bad.
