A few shafts of sunlight

I had been to fill the car with diesel and to buy some cat food - and I had succumbed to the temptation of a warm winter coat (at T K Maxx) - on a generally cloudy and miserable wet day. I had swum my lengths and walked the pool in the rain.

As I neared home, the sun came out - just briefly - and the light around me looked pretty special. I headed up to Gentleshaw Common with the camera, just in case.

It was worth it.
