La Seine

Now that the trees are almost bare, I have a pretty good view of the Seine from my desk in the apartment. Here it is in the afternoon sun, with the pont Mirabeau and the Javel pagoda-like RER station in the background. It may not the best view in Paris, but it's pretty nice. These "bateau-école" boats go by fairly regularly in the afternoons. You can get a boating licence if you take lessons with them.
