Big Stink....!!

Amorphophallus flowers stink like rotting meat in order to attract flies, the flower grows to resemble a piece of flesh or a wound.

Flies are attracted to the smell and enter the flower looking for flesh to lay eggs on, in doing so they get get covered in pollen and then set off looking for another stinky plant.

This fine specimen is currently flowering at work and smells of dog poo. The flower will have gone over in a day or two.
