Carols are not what they used to be..........

My son is in the school choir. These are two of the carols they will be singing. They feature such memorable phrases as

'E's up, knees up, starts to get the breezeup
pitched up 'ere, star's re-appeared
There's a baby in a cradle in a stable ain't it clear?
Job's at an end, headin' 'ome and then,
Some joker's gonna call us all the "three wise men"'

and

the totally immortal lines of
'There's cows that quack and bulls that bark
And sheep that talk all day!'



I'm speechless - I've yet to hear him sing it........ this may be a good thing as I'll find it difficult not to laugh.
