Inverness College's Longman building. If it's not obvious from this picture, it was mostly built in the 1960's, and as with a fair amount of 60's architecture, it isn't pretty...

Supposedly, Inverness is first in line to have its College buildings replaced. It's hoped that work will begin on a new site in a few years time. I just hope that as we're somewhere in (the start/middle/end of) a recession, that everything isn't scrimped on, which would lead to plenty of problems later in the new building's life.

Note the mobile phone mast on the top. It's been there a while now. As this is the tallest building around this part of town, various mobile networks were keen to put a mast up there. I don't recall the opinions of the Students and Staff being sought, prior to it being erected. Good signal strength hereabouts!
