love on the rocks

Today's lunch break was spent watching sea birds in glorious sunshine, around the harbour. These Turnstones were preening themselves, they were sharing the rock with a large cormorant. I also watched a strange phenomena, crows gathering pebbles from the beach, two or three at a time and flying off with them, do take a peep in my blipfolio (around Schull) if your interested. lots of people have been observing this behaviour but no answers as to why!!!!!
