Down and out

Just back from a rare visit to Links Park, home of Montrose FC. Don't get along to watch the Gable Enders as much as I would like so it was good to see them take on Ayr Utd in a Scottish Cup replay.

Montrose played well against a team sitting two leagues higher than them but a lack of sharpness up front and a couple of defensive errors cost them dear as ythey headed out of the Cup. A 2-1 defeat was not a fair reflection of the Mo's efforts.
