Autumn Sunset over Windermere

Took advantage of being a passenger not a driver this afternoon to take some shots from the car of the wonderful light from Kendal to Staveley and then on to Windermere. Normally I am at the wheel of the car on school run/swimming run and just have to sigh when I see the views!

Such a great day I wrote a whole blogpost around the shots I took.

This was my favourite and you should be able to see the waters of Windermere itself in the centre. Hope for more days like this when I can safely photograph them and not just look on wistfully as a I drive by...
