Pear, date & stilton muffins

I tried out a recipe for pear, date, stilton & walnut muffins for dinner. I've had the recipe bookmarked for over a year - I kept forgetting about the recipe last autumn/winter and then when I eventually remembered about it, pears weren't in season anymore. So I finally made it today.

They turned out really rather yummy, though a bit sweeter than I was expecting - the stilton wasn't quite as strong as I thought it would be. They were still totally delicious though, so it's all good (in the hood - oh you didn't know that I'm actually a gangsta? A muffin-making gangsta, obviously).
