OMNIVOROUS

I was surprised to come apon this Pukeko, feasting on the seeds which can be seen sticking to its copious red lips -(as Malc likes to call them ?)
I've always known the Pukeko to catch worms and the like, and feed on these by holding them in their very large feet ? Eating seeds and flesh must make them omnivorous !

You may also notice the water on the back of the bird - it was raining like anything at the time !!!
