Victorian female photographer

I'm ashamed to admit that I hadn't heard of this Julia Margaret Cameron until about two weeks ago when watching BBC2's 'Flog it'.
A print of J F Herschel had been brought in for valuation by a school secretary the school needing funds had decided it might raise funds.
The print was sold at Christie's for around £3000.
There was another print at the auction that raised a heck of a lot more of a young women staring straight into the lens which I thought beautiful.
Wanting to find out more about Julia M Cameron I google, she was born 1815 of English parents in Calcutta married had 6 children returned to London and later lived on the Isle of Wight.
She took up photography at the age of 48 when her children were grown up, over three hundred of her original photographs are held in the J Getty museum.
There are a couple of 'sites' selling a few of her prints, the book I got through Amazon and cost £11.69 pp included a bit expensive but full of her photographs.
Hope you find this remarkable lady interesting as I have.
cheers Penny
