RUDEC

RUDEC is the reason I have come to Cameroon. RUDEC is an organisation in Belo set up by Joshua to help the disadvantaged people in the local area. This includes 53 orphans who have lost their parents to AIDS/HIV, or malaria and other diseases.

I will be working with Phil, another volunteer here, to set up a footballing project which will help to give children important knowledge around diet and nutrition, the environment, the dangers of drugs, first aid, general hygiene and HIV and AIDS prevention.

This morning was our first 'team meeting' at the RUDEC office.
