In Germany trains have names. How is that in your country?

While I was waiting in the Kaiserslautern main station for my train to arrive, the "Kaiserslautern" stopped on the opposite platform.

Even the Kaiserslautern heraldic animal, the fish is there (pike or a carb - one doesn't know; first time mentioned in a document in 1373).
