I STINK!

Hee hee hee.......I smell just GORGEOUS.

This is what happened......

First of all, the most exciting thing that happened today is that Marma is here! YAY! She has come to stay for a night because daddy is away working. I was VERY excited to see her and tried to give her my ripped apart foot from my bear! In fact I INSISTED she had it, as soon as she sat down I jumped on her and tried shoving it in her mouth. I really don't know why she didn't want it. I have been chewing on it for a few days and it smells GORGEOUS!

Anyway, this afternoon we took Marma to the beach with no sea so I that could have a good run and BOY I had a good run! We walked up to the marshland end and I had a good sniff around the marshes. Mum was calling me but to be honest it smelt sooooooooooooo good that I ignored her........... and then.............. BOY I smelt some FANTASTIC perfume..................... so I threw myself on my back and had a really good roll in it! It was BEAUTIFUL and I thought that mum would really love me smelling like that!

Mmmmmm, OH how wrong I was. I got VERY told off and dragged away. Apparently it was a big dead fish!!

Later on when we were all in the car with the heaters on mum and marma were making sick noises and telling me I stink!!

So I bet you can guess what happened to me when I was home......YEP....... 'THE BATH'. I HATE 'THE BATH' but I got a good old soaping and showering. I thought I must smell better after all that soap, but everytime I go over to mum or marma I get sent away! My wagging tail keeps wafting the smell of me towards them *giggle* Apparently no amount of soap has been able to get rid of the smell.

I am sure all of my doggie friends will agree that I smell fantastic! It is just silly humans who don't appreciate our perfume.

I have heard a mention of me getting to swim in the sea tomorrow to try and get rid of it :-) or the other thing I have heard is that I might have to have ANOTHER bath :-(

Blippers..........any tips for mum on dead rancid fish smell removal???! She has even tried some doggie antibacterial wipes (which I thought were hideous!) Hee, hee, hee ;-)
