Gorilla Installation

Bristol University has acquired one of Bristol's gorillas. Here she is, being installed in her temporary home in the library.

This particular gorilla is not painted in pretty colours the way some are -- though she is very pretty in form and a nice golden brown colour. Instead she is designed to make an important statement about protecting gorillas in Africa from the bush meat trade. The words painted on various parts of her say what those parts are sold for.
