Oooooh - it was scary out there!

I frequently drive past this landmark which stands on a hill above the M8 motorway half way between Glasgow and Edinburgh. I've always wanted to blip it so when the traffic started backing up on the way home, I took a detour.

I've just looked it up on Google and found some forums that talk of ghosts and as recently as May of this year the police were looking for a murder victim up there. I certainly didn't feel like lingering.

I found this website which says that Cromwell, Lord Protector himself rode past the church and there seems to have been a church there since 1476.
