It was once a tree

I had planned on going out somewhere with the camera this evening just to take tonight's blip. Once again though I just didn't feel like charging around the countryside looking for something to photograph. This is therefore yet another photo taken in my garden. I did have 6 trees at the end of my garden that had to be taken down last year as they were too big and this was one of the trunks. I liked the colour of the bark in what seemed to be the ideal light for this photo.
